Find out how Water-Training has helped my baby in her Milestones, Interaction with others and our Bonding
Written By: Mommy Jenny
Hi, I’m Jenny and this is me with my 2 month old daughter, Sophie. Like every mother, I want to give my baby the best.
Being a first-time mother, I am cautious and often on the lookout for the best way to bond with my baby and also to enhance her learning ability. Honestly, there are not many activities babies can do!
Upon finding out that babies love to swim and that they are born with natural swimming abilities, I want to give Sophie the opportunity to develop it.
So I did a little research on babies swimming.
And.. I found out..
2 SHOCKING FACTS ALL MOTHERS MUST KNOW!
Chlorinated Pools May Cause Bronchiolitis
What this means: Swimming in chlorinated pools is unsafe for babies under 2 years old as it may put them at risk of bronchiolitis and other respiratory diseases.
Note: Asthma and other breathing problems later in life have been linked with bronchiolitis.
The Water In The Pools Might Be Too Cold For Babies
What this means: Babies have skin that is more sensitive than that of an adult’s and they do not have fully developed body temperature system, so while in water they tend to lose a lot of body heat. This will easily lead to babies catching a cold, and it is always heartbreaking to see one so young, falling victim to colds.
After doing my research online, I came across perhaps one of the most famous
bloggers in Singapore Xiaxue, and about her experience at BabySPA.
